Field Trips

Topanga students benefit from a diversity of experience through field trips that give out-of-classroom depth to their core curriculum. Field trips are LAUSD approved and coordinated through parent-class volunteers and teachers and change every year but highlights this year may include

TK and Kindergarten: Theatricum Botanicum and Heal the Bay

First Grade: LA Zoo

Second Grade: TBD

Third Grade: Chumash Indian Museum, La Brea Tar Pits, and Malibu Lagoon

Fourth Grade: Visit to a California Mission

Fifth Grade: Getty Center
